Trophy Electric was founded in 2020 by Matthew Gulino, a Florida Master Electrician who built his career on some of the most technically demanding electrical projects in the industry—international marina fuel systems, hazardous location installations, and high-stakes commercial work where failure costs tens of thousands per day.

Before founding Trophy Electric, Matthew worked internationally installing marina fuel dispenser systems in the Caribbean, including projects in Canouan (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) and the Bahamas. This wasn't typical electrical work—these were complex installations requiring expertise in hazardous location electrical systems, strict regulatory compliance, and the ability to deliver flawless results thousands of miles from home.

Matthew spent nearly three years with Great Dane Petroleum Contractor's Electrical Division, where he specialized in petroleum electrical installations and earned his Florida Master Electrician license. He learned cellular communications electrical work at J. Crompton Electric, handling tower installations and switchgear that required absolute precision.

When Matthew founded Trophy Electric in 2020, he brought this specialized expertise back to Florida. Today, Trophy Electric is trusted by South Florida's premier marinas, major petroleum contractors, and general contractors who need electrical work done right the first time—on projects where there's no room for error.
